Our Package

Our design and build full service package offers support on every aspect of your build, from project planning and CAD drawing, through to obtaining the relevant planning permissions and management of the construction.

Ideas or full plans

If you already have architect plans and designs in place, we can work with you on the construction of your project, handing your designs to our expert project managers to deliver your build on-time, on-budget and defect free.

The Design and planning stage

Step 1
Free Site Visit
We will visit your home at a time that suits you to understand your priorities and budget, take an initial brief and to measure up the property.
Step 2
Assign an Architect
Through our architectural partner, you will be provided with architectural designs and images to illustrate how the completed work will look.
Step 3
Planning Permission
Prepare and submit your application for planning permission for works to be carried out and work with the local authority during the process.
Step 4
Building Regulations
Once planning permission has been received, work will start on the structural drawings and construction plans, ensuring they are in adherence with Building Regulations.
Step 5
Tender Works
At this stage our estimators will provide you with a quote based on all the information gathered.
Step 6
Get a Party Wall Agreement
We can recommend some impartial surveyors to put this in place if you’re building on a shared boundary or excavating within 3 meters of one.
Step 7
Agree Price and Appoint Builder
All build aspects agreed and Adamson Residential appointed to be principle contractor for the works.
Step 8
Project Planning
A project manager will be assigned to your job and we will prepare a build schedule to include key delivery dates. Now works can start.

Build

Step 9
Appoint a Building Control Inspector
We will work closely with the appointed official throughout the project to ensure everything is carried out in accordance with Building Regulations.
Step 10
Regular Site Meetings
We will invite you along with the contracts manager, site manager and project manager to discuss the progress of the build and iron out any issues as they arise.
Step 11
Monthly Valuations
We will regularly inspect the works throughout the build to ensure that the highest quality is maintained and key delivery dates are being met and agreed. Progress valuations of works complete will be invoiced.

Completion

Step 12
Works Complete
Once works have finished we will inspect the property with you to ensure you’re happy with the quality of the finish and mutually draw up a final snagging list.
Step 13
Certification Issued
We will issue you with the building control completion certificate, testing and commissioning certificates and any warranties and manuals that you may need.
Step 14
12 month Defect Period Starts
During this period we are on hand to visit your property and correct any defects that may have occurred.
